Florence is a wonderful city, well deserving of it's title as a mandatory tourist stop for those exploring Italy. Known in Italy as Firenze, it's Cathedral Duomo is unparalleled in it's exterior beauty, it's Ponte Vecchio rich in history and one of the city's most well known landmarks, and its museums (Uffizi Gallery) hold a wealth of masterpieces from Italy's best known painters and sculptors.

The city center with it's medieval streets and buildings are unique and make Florence nice to walk.

The food and the wine take their part in the life of Florentine. We love good food and our local recipes such as the T-bone steak, “Ribollita” soup, “Trippa alla Fiorentina”, which, when sampled with Chianti wines leads you to the conteplation of the city.

The markets in Florence offer something for everyone such as the market of San Lorenzo with leather goods and hand made items, such as the main shopping streets like Via Tornabuoni which offer you the best: Gucci, Prada, Cavalli in their amazing luxury.

Florence is beautiful, but the surrounding countryside is absolutely stunning. If you go in the fall, you'll see changing leaves, rolling hills, and unparalleled beauty. You may want to visit surrounding towns like Siena or San Gimignano, for which we recommend renting a car or scooter so that you can see the landscape at your leisure.

The Florentines sometimes have strange behaviors: some describe them as reserved (maybe by their-own) and just materials but our italian dialect and our way to make relationships (we have to joke about everything) help us to create many friendships in a short amount of time!
